• For your smoothest, most even tan, please exfoliate 24-48 hours with an oil free scrub before your appointment and arrive with clean, dry skin.

• Avoid lotions, oils, deodorant, perfume, makeup, and other skincare products the day of your visit unless we’ve discussed otherwise. Our House Favorites include tan-safe products that will love on your skin before and after your service. Please do NOT use stripping soaps such as Dove, Dial, or Olay.

• Waxing, manicures, pedicures, facials, and other beauty treatments are best completed 24 hours beforehand.

• Shaving immediately before your appointment can leave follicles open, making them more visible once your tan develops. For the smoothest finish, shave 24 hours prior to your reservation. We recommend Billie razors as they provide a close, clean shave without leaving behind the waxy residue of a traditional moisture strip.

• Wear loose, dark clothing afterward — think oversized tee, your favorite sweats, or anything that won’t rub against the skin. Loungewear is luxe at Your Place.

• DRINK YOUR WATER. That emotional support Stanley is begging to be sipped. Hydrated skin is the best canvas for a perfect tan, starting from the inside out.

• On the day of your appointment, please shower with a gentle, oil-free soap 4-6 hours beforehand. A micellar makeup wipe will be offered to you upon arrival which can be used to remove any makeup and remove any residue.

• Your Place Concierge Spray Tanning services Ventura County and select areas of Los Angeles. Travel within the primary service area is included with your appointment.

• Appointments outside of the primary service area may be subject to a travel fee based on location, drive time, and distance.

• Select destinations are serviceable by request and may require a minimum booking.

• Parking, valet, garage, toll, or access fees required for your appointment will be added at cost.

Guests are required to complete all intake and release forms 24 hours prior to their reservation.

Reservations may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 48 hours before your visit.

Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred if rescheduled within the 48-hour window.

Cancellations or reschedules made less than 48 hours prior to your appointment will be charged 50% of the scheduled service. Same-day cancellations and no-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.

Guests arriving 10 minutes late will be subject to a cancellation fee.

Because Your Place is a concierge service, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you — travel time included.

If plans change, reach out as soon as possible.

• Avoid skin to skin contact, water, and sweat until your first rinse.

• Rinse time will determine the depth and development of your tan and will be determined based on your custom blend and preferences. Please rinse following the time instructed by Your Place.

• For your first rinse, use water only — no soap — and avoid hair washing. Use your hands to wipe bronzers off until water runs clear.

  House Favorite: BAKD Sunless DHA-Infused Body Wash. This is safe to use before and after your service and is supportive of your tan’s development.

• Pat dry. Streaks are an indication that bronzers are not fully rinsed. Use your hands and water only to wipe and remove any residual bronzer.

• For your longest lasting tan, avoid chlorine for extended periods, steam rooms, saunas, excessive sweating, and exfoliants. After 24 hours, you may resume exercise and pat dry any sweat with a clean, dry towel.

• Moisturize twice per day using a tan-extending or tan-friendly lotion.

• Previous color should be fully and evenly faded or removed before your next visit to ensure smooth and even application and development.

For both guest and artist safety, all reservations are subject to client screening via photo identification using a government ID and require a valid card on file.

Appointments must take place in a clean, safe, accessible environment with adequate space, lighting, ventilation, and access to a working outlet. Pets must be secured away from the service area prior to arrival.

Your Place reserves the right to refuse or end a service at any time due to unsafe conditions, intoxication, inappropriate behavior, harassment, or any circumstance that compromises safety.
